The students had the pleasure of working with Michelle, our southern French chef, to make three delicious tarte tantins!














Then later on we were fortunate enough to witness a cigale shedding its skin and opening its wings. The sound of the cigale is all around us, but rarely to we actually see these creatures; who spend 4 years underground and emerge to sing for only 15 days. Our French staff, Emilie, Valentin and Pierlau were thrilled.












Our next excurision was into Aix en Provence. Everyone was happy to be in a big city, and see all that Aix has to offer.
